A beverage house built around routes to market.

Expressway is a beverage distribution and sales business. We work with brand owners who want their drinks in new markets, and with wholesale, retail and marketplace buyers looking for products worth stocking.

Every opportunity starts with the same conversation: the product, the market and the channel. From there we look at whether a route makes sense and what it would take to open it.

Four ways in.

Whether you make drinks, buy them or want to build one, each conversation starts from the same three questions: which product, which market, which channel.

  • Beverage brand owners

You make a drink you believe in and want it in front of buyers in a new market. Bring us the brand, where it sells today and where you want it to go next.

    Discuss distribution
  • Wholesale and retail buyers

Sourcing drinks for shelves, venues or a wholesale range? Share the categories, market and channel you have in mind and we can talk through what could fit.

    Make a buyer enquiry
  • Marketplace opportunities

Amazon and Walmart can be useful channels where the brand and market suit them. We can discuss whether a marketplace route makes sense for a product.

    Ask about marketplaces
  • In-house brand development

POMORI is the first in-house range we are developing. We are also open to conversations about own-label beverage projects.

    Discuss own-label

Four markets in focus.

Availability always depends on the brand, the market and the channel, so each opportunity is looked at on its own terms.

Distribution

Routes to market for good drinks.

Expressway sits between beverage brands and the buyers who could stock them. Based in Hong Kong, we focus on Hong Kong, Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, across wholesale, retail and marketplace channels.

Choose a market for your enquiry

No market chosen. Enquiries from this page will start without one.

Distribution for your brand

For brand owners looking for buyers in a new market. Share what you make, where it sells now and the channels you want to reach.

Wholesale and retail buying

For buyers sourcing beverages for stores, venues or wholesale ranges. Name the categories and channel and we can discuss what may be available.

Marketplace opportunities

Amazon and Walmart can suit some brands in some markets. We don't list marketplace products here, so ask us about availability for a specific brand and channel.

Own-label projects

We are developing POMORI as our own range and are open to talking about own-label beverage projects.

From first message to next step.

An enquiry is the start of a conversation, not an order. This is the order things usually happen in.

  1. Send an enquiry

Use the contact form to tell us who you are, the product or category and the market you have in mind.

  2. First conversation

We talk through the product, where it sells today, the target market and the channel. For buyers, it is the categories, volumes and timing you are working to.

  3. Fit for market and channel

Each market has its own labelling and compliance rules, and each channel has its own expectations on formats, case sizes and pricing structure. We look at what would apply.

  4. Agree what happens next

If there is a fit, we agree the next steps together. If there isn't, you will know early.

Markets at a glance.

Some general starting points. Requirements depend on the product, so confirm them with the relevant authority or an adviser.

Hong Kong

Prepackaged food labels follow Hong Kong labelling rules, in English, Chinese or both, with a nutrition label on most packaged drinks.

Canada

Most prepackaged food and drink labels must show mandatory information in both English and French.

United States

Labels follow FDA food labelling requirements, including a Nutrition Facts panel for most packaged drinks.

United Kingdom

Food and drink labels follow UK food information rules, including clear allergen labelling.

Channels we discuss.

Wholesale

Supplying distributors and wholesalers who sell on to shops, venues and other businesses.

Retail

Getting onto shelves, from independent shops to larger retail groups, each with its own buying process.

Food service

Cafés, restaurants, hotels and venues, where formats and serve sizes often differ from retail.

Marketplaces

Online marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart, where they suit the brand and market.

About Expressway

We help good drinks find new markets.

Our work, in three parts.

Each part starts with a real product and a specific market, rather than a generic pitch.

  • Brand distribution

We work with beverage brand owners who want to reach buyers in Hong Kong, Canada, the United States or the United Kingdom.

  • Buyer enquiries

We talk with wholesale, retail and marketplace buyers about the categories and channels they are sourcing for.

  • Brand development

We are developing POMORI, our in-house sparkling tea range, and are open to own-label beverage projects.

How we like to work.

Product first

We start with the drink itself: what it is, how it is made and packed, and who it is for.

Market by market

Hong Kong, Canada, the US and the UK each have their own rules, channels and buyers, so we look at each one separately.

Channel fit

Wholesale, retail, food service and marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart all work differently. We match the route to the product.

Straight answers

If an opportunity doesn't fit, we say so early, so nobody spends time on a route that won't work.
